What This Service Is

Fort Wayne Siding Repair is a free referral service. We connect homeowners with independent, insured local siding contractors. We are not a contractor, we do not perform siding work, we do not employ the contractors we refer, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with a contractor. All estimates, workmanship, scheduling, pricing, and warranties are provided solely by the independent contractor you engage.

Licensing — the Straight Story

Indiana issues no state license specific to siding work or general contracting. The only construction trade licensed at the state level in Indiana is plumbing. For that reason, this site makes no "licensed" claim about any contractor — you will see "insured" on this site, because insurance is a claim you can actually verify.

There is a local nuance worth knowing: Allen County requires contractors and sub-contractors to hold a license through the Allen County Building Department for permitted work in the county, including Fort Wayne. Surrounding counties and towns set their own registration rules.

How to verify any contractor, in three steps:

1. Ask for a certificate of insurance directly from the contractor's insurer — general liability at minimum, plus workers' compensation if they have employees. A legitimate contractor produces this without friction.
2. Ask about their Allen County Building Department license (or the equivalent registration in your county) if your project requires a permit — and confirm who is pulling the permit.
3. Get the scope of work, price, and warranty in writing before work begins.

By calling or submitting the quote form, you consent to be contacted by us and by the one independent contractor we refer your project to, by phone, text, or email, regarding your request. Calls may be recorded. You may withdraw consent at any time by telling us or the contractor to stop.

No Warranty

This site's content — including price ranges and repair guidance — is general information about the Fort Wayne market, provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It is not a quote, not a guarantee of any contractor's pricing or availability, and not professional advice for your specific property. We make no warranty regarding the work performed by any independent contractor; warranties on workmanship and materials come from the contractor and manufacturer, in writing.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of this site or the referral service is limited to $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of any independent contractor.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit false requests, harvest information from this site, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may decline or discontinue service to anyone at our discretion.

Independent Contractors

Every professional we refer is an independent business. Nothing on this site creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between us and any contractor, or between us and you.
